COVID-19: Information for NEW YORK customers
In an effort to assist you in these difficult times, and in accordance with New York Department of Financial Services Emergency Regulation of March 30th, 2020,
we have implemented the following process for those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic:
If a customer has experienced a financial hardship as a result of COVID-19:
We will not cancel policies for non-payment, non-renew, or conditionally renew any home or auto insurance policies for the next 60 days.
We will not charge any fees for late payments.
We will not report any late payments to credit bureaus or collection agencies.
We will offer a process to repay overdue premiums over the course of 12 months, in 12 equal installments.
Eligible customers must document the financial hardship in writing.
